IMPORTANT! These are not the same guidelines as your average game, and are important to consider in deciding whether or not this game is for you. Ignorance of them won't be an excuse, so please take the time to read t them before you make the decision to register. The goal of this event is to produce a realistic atmosphere and continue to give participants the opportunity to play in a MILSIM environment. This is not an event geared towards first-time players. This is going to be a serious, involved MILSIM op. If you like speedball, if you "don't believe" in milsim (wearing uniforms, gear etc), if you just want to shoot people--don't sign up. This is for guys who want to spend a weekend getting as close to real military ops as they can. That means you will probably be hot, cold, hungry, tired, and stressed. It also means you will, to an extent, test your abilities. It will give you a much better idea of what military ops are like. It will test your analytical, planning, tactical and physical skills. Bottom line, make sure you know what you are getting into. This is not going to be an extended 24 hour paintball-type game. You might make it through the weekend without even using up a bag of BBs; or, you might find yourself in an all-out firefight, desperately asking teammates for more mags. Be prepared to engage in role-playing-style activities. So once more, we are planning and advertising this as a MILSIM game. Military Simulation requires a command structure to work, and by registering as a participant you are stating that you understand this, and will respect and follow the command structure you are placed in. If the idea of that doesn't set well, this may not be the best game for you. To summarize, it will require an understanding of team work. You have to be conscientious of your team mates, as well as be willing to do what your squad leaders ask. It will all have a purpose regardless of whether it seems apparent or not. "Rambos" and "rogues" will not do well in this game, and may risk being asked to leave. Understand that this is being emphasized because one player's misbehavior can affect all the other players' experience, and therefore will not be tolerated. Each potential participant should know what is expected of them.
