nice pix sir RR..gnda ng gamesite/ thanks sir ww Heres some info on the gamesite in elite action games dorking. ;D ;D ;DSet in 500 acres of Woodland set in the Surrey country side, situated just off the A24. Dorking is an existing paintball site with multiple structures and defences already setup. It comprises of three or four separate areas, the main paintball playing area, which is available to us, vast woodland and an open scrub area. Dorking caters for Snipers, Woodland Warriors and even CQB, so whatever your playing style Dorking should be able supply a great day.
A Snipers Delight! Open clear areas, of low level scrub, a few trees and far too much open land (ouch!). Patrolling the various tracks will lead to Ambush and counter Ambush. Team work will be required to survive in this environment.
During the summer there will be plenty of low level growth, which will act as good cover, but as winter approaches and the bush growth dies down, running quickly may be your only defence.
Patrolling games will be the order of the day, following the dirt tracks and finding yourself in open fields
There are already some bunkers and fox holes here, although a wet suit will be needed in the winter, plus a good pair of Wellies! Either that or a desire to get DIRTY!
Wood Land Area. The woodland at Dorking is expansive to say the least, set in 500 acres of the Surrey country side. The terrain is varied with flats, hills, scrub, dense and thick woodland. As the woodland as been there since Saxon times, it has a wonderful old, spooky feel. The trees have little to no order, few grow straight, some have fallen which all leans it self to perfectly skirmishing territory. Being so large does present us with the problem that we may lose the odd one or two of you, so we suggest that you bring a radio with you!
Our initial plans for 07 are to build half a dozen or more features, these will included a wilderness fortifications (under construction), US style Vietnam fire base (under construction), Rapier Station, downed helicopter or jet, Vietnam style village and various bunkers and defences what ever else we can dream up. Obviously, everything takes time and equally we are not just going to throw something together, anything we build will be made to be safe and last, even against Airsofters!
The US style Vietnam fire base will consist of more than half a dozen structures, with multiple pill boxes and fox holes, a CP and watch tower plus sandbag fortification and mortar pit for good measure. We estimate that this will near completion by the end of July. The CP has been half erected, but unfortunately it will need to be moved down the hill (bloody bridle ways!), not too much of a problem just means we need to move about a THOUSAND SAND bags!!!!
The wilderness fortification has already been established, but work is by no means finished. This still needs higher walls and some areas covered. Still you will get the idea.
When you look at all the possibilities of the woodland area, coupled with the existing paintball site and scrub land, Dorking is going to be one hell of a place for a fire fight.
The Fort. Built to repel the most deadliest assault, the fort offers defenders multiple firing positions and is highly defendable. The two story construction offers high ground vantage and few breach points.
Attacking forces will need to suppress the “shoot holes” and try to storm the fortress! Smoke, grenades and carefree attitude to ammunition usage will be required to break in and take down the defenders.
Full Face protection is recommended for those that dare to assault! Plus a well sighted rifle and CQB skills.
The Village. This area offers a combination of building and fortifications with the promise of 30 x 432s on route plus two Chinook shells!!! Black Hawk Down Anyone?
CQB Environments. Up close and personnel Airsoft, Semi fire here only. The trench system and barrels
Cable Reels. This will take “skill and daring” to push up through the reels. The angles of attack are varied and only suppressive fire or crack shooting will allow a team to move up. Even then the layout presents too many defence points for an all out charge!
“Shoot and manoeuvre” tactics and “hero dashes” will be needed here.
