GENERAL RULES
1. Center flag format (Capture the Flag)
2. 12-man: 8 minutes
3. Maximum velocity of 450 fps (.2 BB’s)
4. Each player may only play for one team in the tournament.
5. No time schedule will be given; teams will be called "on deck".
6. All AIRSOFT GUNS will be tested for chrono prior to the game.
7. Any player removing himself from the game due to AIRSOFT GUN malfunction will not be penalized but will be considered eliminated.
8. A "truce" may be called by a marshal in the event of an injury or possible injury including loss of MASK.
9. AIRSOFT GUNS may only be fired in the following designated areas: the playing field, chrono testing area, and the designated SHOOTING AREA for AIRSOFT GUN.
10. MAG OUT rule is in effect outside of the playing field.
11. At the chronograph, AIRSOFT GUN will be handed over to a marshal for chrono.
12. Absolutely NO BLIND FIRING. Player/s will be called out in the game if ever there will be.
13. ALCOHOLIC PRODUCTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Bringing in of such products will be confiscated.
14. Players must place all trash in the garbage receptacles located throughout the tournament site.
GAME RULES
1. MARSHAL’S decision is final.
2. Eliminated players should place one hand on top of their head and exit the field quickly.
3. GUN HIT IS NOT A HIT, RICOCHET IS NOT A HIT, IN BETWEEN THE DRUMS NOT A HIT
4. Any player who assumes the posture of an eliminated player, or calls "hit” is automatically eliminated. NO EXCEPTIONS.
5. If a flag carrier is “HIT”, he must drop the flag on where he was hit and exit the field.
6. No electronic communication devices will be allowed on the field.
7. Any player who continues to play after being called “OUT” will be penalized.
8. Each player must go directly to his team’s “dead box” once eliminated and stay there until the game is over.
9. Eliminated players are not permitted to communicate with squad mates in any manner.
10. No weapons of any kind are allowed inside the playing field other than AIRSOFT GUNS.
11. No “AUTO LOAD MAG” will be allowed in the playing field. “STANDARD MAG” “STANDARD HIGH CAPACITY” & “STANDARD LOW CAPACITY” magazines only are permitted.
12. DIY mask/shields of any kind are not permitted in the tournament.
13. No Metal BBs
14. No personal cameras or video recording equipment will be allowed inside the playing field during play except for authorized media men and tournament recorder. Any violation will result in an immediate and permanent removal from the field. No refunds will be issued.
15. Mediamen who wishes to enter the playing field must coordinate with the organizers prior to the tournament.
EQUIPMENT
1. All AIRSOFT GUNS must be BATTERY operated. No CO2, Compressed air or Nitrogen powered gun is allowed.
2. No excessive padding. (Marshal's discretion.)
3. No tools of any type will be allowed on the field.
4. Each player must make themselves and their equipment available for an inspection when deemed necessary and appropriate by any member of the organizational staff.
Scoring System *A playoff game will be done in case of tie.
Max. Score: 100 pts. (Every game)
Flag Hang: 30pts.
First Flag Pull: 10pts.
Eliminations: 5pts.
Penalties
1. Removal of mask / goggles inside the field. Once a player enters the playingfield, masks must be worn properly at all times. Failure to do so will incur a 50 point penalty for the team.
2. Obvious hit but still continues to play – 25 points deduction.
3. Arguing with a referee after a warning – 40 points deduction.
4. Foul Language - 25 points deduction
5. Unsportsmanlike conduct- 25 points deduction
6. MAG OUT RULE violation- 10 points deduction
7. Tools on the field- 20 points deduction
8. Leaving “Dead Box” before being called out -10 points deduction
9 Talking or playing on after eliminated -50 points deduction
11. Using metal BBs -10 points deduction
12. Blind firing – 10 points deduction
13. Players who fail to undergo or refuse to allow an inspection – 50 points deduction for the team
THE ORGANIZERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE RULES AND REGULATIONS, INCLUDING THE FORMAT OF THE TOURNAMENT AS THEY SEE FIT. CHANGES WILL BE POSTED ON THE WEBSITE NOT LATER THAT APRIL 5, 2008.
The tournament will have a maximum of 40 competing teams. First come first served basis. Special courtesy will be given to teams not from Ilocos Sur. These teams will be given priority for their effort in coming here to participate in the tournament.
Registration fee will be Php 350 per head (Inclusive of tournament fee, fellowship night and 2 beers for the fellowship night on April 12, 2008)
Start of registry will be on March 1, 2008. Final day for confirmation will be on April 7, 2008
Payments can be made before or on the tournament date. Teams that plan on paying on April 12 must first inform the organizers.
Tournament format will be divisional round robin with the winners in each division participating in a final double knockout system.
Each team will have a minimum of 12 players with a maximum of 15. The 3 extra players will serve as substitutes for the main team if the need arises.
Tents will be provided around the game site for the convenience of the participating teams. Electrical outlets will also be provided for charging batteries and cell phones. As there will only be a limited number of tents, priority will be given to teams not from Ilocos Sur.
Plaza Burgos will be closed to traffic on April 12 & 13, as such, teams are advised to drop off players and equipments in front of the St. Paul Parish Cathedral then walk towards their respective tents. Parking area will be beside the Provincial Capitol.
Players are advised not to carry their weapons outside the immediate vicinity of the Plaza. If players are forced to walk from the parking area towards the Plaza, we strongly recommend that airsoft guns be placed on gun bags or their respective boxes to avoid any untoward accidents.
An area inside the plaza will be provided for people who want to sell airsoft merchandise or related items. Contact the organizers for details.
All players are encouraged to come and build friendships during the fellowship night. It will be held at the Plaza Burgos and local bands will be provided for the enjoyment of all. Beer and pulutan can be bought at designated areas during this time.
